Laser Wire Solutions recently exhibited at the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE) 2024. With nearly 200 exhibitors on 300,00 square feet of exhibition space and more than 3,000 visitors over the two days of the expo, the Laser Wire Solutions team has an extremely successful event to look back on.
The Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE) is the industry’s exclusive trade show in Milwaukee, targeted at companies who designs, specifies, purchases, installs, sells, maintains or manufactures electronic cable assemblies, cord sets, wiring harnesses and other related products across numerous industries.
The EWPTE was held over two days from May 15th to May 16th 2024 at the Baird Center, Milwaukee. The Laser Wire Solutions team were spread across two stands, having our own dedicated stand showcasing the Odyssey-8, Mercury-4, and Gemini-4E; then joining the Komax team to demonstrate the Mercury-4 and Mercury-5.
This was the first time the Odyssey-8 had been demonstrated live by the team, and was well received by those processing micro wires. The Mercury-4 was also a crowd pleaser as the versatile machine had the capability of processing so many different wire types and insulations. Those who brought along their own samples were impressed with the speed which the Mercury-4 could process them.
Laser Wire Solutions CEO, Dr. Paul Taylor, and Applications and Contract Manufacturing Business Unit Manager, William Tindle, and Key Account Manager, Alistair George, met with local, national, and international decision-makers. The Expo also afforded the Laser Wire Solutions team to join up with new and existing distribution partners, including Schleuniger USA and ER North, to strengthen relationships and plan ahead for 2024.
Highlights included live demonstrations of the Odyssey-8, Mercury-4, Mercury-5, and Gemini-4E, an open area for conversations among industry colleagues, and countless interactions with key decision makers to discuss their current challenges and requirements for 2024/2025. The result: A success for Laser Wire Solutions and the Expo delegates.
